~~Mesh Wreaths and Summertime~~

Hey Guys! I hope you are all having a great start to your Summer. It's already HOT here in Arkansas...hotter than normal at this time of year. It's supposed to be 100 degrees on Saturday! Ouch! As you can tell I haven't been to good about posting lately...and I was going to try and post more often...Oops! I think I just have the Summertime blahs. I haven't done a thing in my house since going to market.
I wanted to show you these mesh wreaths I just made for a good customer. Her husband is in a political race and wanted the red white and blue wreaths for her double doors. She will also be using them for the Fourth of July.

I made her two of these summer wreaths too. They are so bright and cheery!

My flowers are really growing! I love this Miracle Grow Shake 'N Feed...it's the reason everythinng is looking so good.

Here's the proof! Before the Miracle Grow they were not nearly this full.

Here is the garden after we first planted everything...
Here it is now! What a difference! We used the Miracle Grow Shake 'N Feed in the garden too.

See my little squash...
Bell Peppers...
Tomatoes...

We also have okra and hot peppers... they are all doing well too. I took a picture of this baby bird the other day. It's so precious!

LOL...I just had to throw this picture of Chase in here. This was at his school awards ceremony. I think that's a fruit roll up, whatever it was it was it was sticky...funny thing is right after I took this picture his tooth fell out!

Here he is playing baseball. He scored the winning run on this night. We have been spending alot of nights at the ballpark.
This is my friend, Kim and I at her shower. She is getting married on Saturday and I am doing her bouquet. I'm so happy for her!
How's your summer so far?
Have a great weekend!!

Kristen! You are back posting!
I thought you all were on vacation to Disney World so I haven't been by to say Hello lately. I understand the blahs of blogging. It has happened to me so many times. I have done some shopping and finally came up with a few new ideas for the coming weeks ahead. Whew! I was about to give up soon.

I LOVE all of your gorgeous flowers! WOW! You have a green thumb for sure. I really need that bag of Miracle Grow right now. Ours are all doing so bad. I never know if I am watering too much or not enough. I'll bet they all need this ferlizer. Thanks for telling us about it. Your veggies grew so fast too! The little squash are so cute and the baby birdie is adorable.

That is wonderful news about Chase and all of his awards. I know you are proud parents. He is a nice young man.

Have a great time at the wedding. You both look so pretty!
~Melissa :)

PS I almost forgot. The wreaths are both STUNNING! Love the red, white and blue one.

Kristen,
Welcome back!!!! I have missed you dreadfully.

I absolutely love the mesh wreaths. Are you accepting requests? i would love to have a red and white one. I am also in need of several tassels. Are you still making those?

Your Chase is so handsome and looking so grown up. I love the baseball photos. All 4 of my brothers played baseball---it is our family's favorite sport.

I look forward to seeing more photos of your lovely garden as well. Everything in this post was so very enjoyable.

Blessings to you today.

Oh Kristen, you are so right! I live in Arkansas and IT IS HOT!!! As much as I live for the weekends, I dread the higher temps. Love, love, love the patriotic wreaths. They will be great on double doors for a campaign!!

Your flowers are also very pretty but I envy you the vegetable garden the most. I have thought of doing one off the side of my back porch instead of flowers but we live in the country and have deer ALOT! My daughter and I watched a very young one yesterday evening. She has a new camera and took loads of pics.

Glad you're back to posting. I missed you!!

Kristen,
Your flower beds are beautiful! And, my goodness...the veggies are huge. We got a late start in that department. We are hoping to put in a fire pit similar to yours this summer. Now, to just find the time.
